Life is Short ~ Live It

It is such an honor to be asked year after year to take a person's photographs of themselves.  While most of us shy away from the camera, hide behind the tall person, or just plain refuse to be in the photo, there are many who understand the importance of your own life and the memories it holds for your family.

As I traveled back to Newberry Street early one Saturday morning for these photos, my heart was filled with a calming silence, knowing that a quiet walk with this special lady would be more than a photo session.  Her wise quotes and insights, her humor and beautiful smile, and her tender loving heart all reach out to anyone she meets.

Even in the early hours of the morning, my young friend shows up beautifully adorned in the dress she wore to her 50th class reunion this year. (2018).

Life Is Short ~ Live It

As we begin our stroll around the block, her smile broadens as she shares the success of her three grandsons,

and the transition of her favorite aunt, who was always an inspiration even at 102.

Love is Rare, Grab It!

Her laughter and beautiful smile radiates as I ask if she is still single.

As we stop for a moment and chat, we are both grateful for the healing of one of our mutual friends.

Fear is Awful, Face It!

We never know what tomorrow will bring, but we know God is already there.

Happy 2018 Birthday to one special lady.

I hope that as this new year begins, you will take a moment to think about this, think about notes you write (don't type them) for your writing is treasured;

Welcome to For Keeps Sake Photography's New Blog

Welcome to the first posting from For Keeps Sake Photography
in a new format.  The year of 2018 turned out to be a year of transition for my photography work. After dumping the expense of my web domain, and following the lead of many solo photographers, I can now move forward with offering better digital packages for my clients and more social media exposure.  I am looking forward to 2019 with anticipation of the adventures the Lord has in store for me as he guides me through each photography session.

While many of you know my work from the beginning in Aiken, SC and the CSRA, it has been great to begin reaching new friends and clients here in the Lake Murray area.  I appreciate each of you that continue to share my name and recommend my work to others.  You are my best advertising for sure.

With a grateful heart ~ Pam
